HJWAVE, a physical AI-based millimeter-wave (RF) technology company led by CEO Tae Hwan Yoo, announced that it has officially begun mass production of automotive safety components under a project secured last year, accelerating the expansion of its automotive electronics business.

The company began mass production and customer deliveries of automotive safety components at its Ansan plant in March this year. HJWAVE has secured supply volumes expected to continue for more than five years, establishing a stable foundation for manufacturing operations and revenue generation.

The expansion of mass production is also contributing to the company’s business growth. HJWAVE recently held a shareholder meeting to share its first-half 2026 business results and updates on its major projects. According to the company, revenue for the first half of this year has already reached the level of its full-year revenue from the previous year. HJWAVE plans to continue growing revenue in the second half of the year, driven by the expansion of automotive safety component production and growth in its existing businesses.

HJWAVE’s Ansan plant is equipped with six SMT lines, an automated waveguide antenna production line, key PVD process equipment, and multimedia and automotive electronics assembly lines. The company plans to operate the Ansan facility as a core manufacturing base supporting not only its existing automotive electronics business but also the manufacturing of physical AI-related products to be developed in the future.

HJWAVE holds 39 patents in Korea and abroad in key technology areas, including autonomous driving radar antennas. The company is focusing on leveraging its proprietary RF technologies and R&D capabilities to strengthen its manufacturing and mass-production competitiveness.

Going forward, HJWAVE plans to develop autonomous driving RF technologies and automotive safety components as its key growth pillars while continuing to expand its automotive electronics business through increased supply to global customers.

At the same time, the company is gradually pursuing new application areas, including AI devices utilizing millimeter-wave RF sensing technology. Its strategy is to expand the RF technologies accumulated through its existing B2B business into new markets while strengthening its brand and global business capabilities to secure new growth engines.

“Mass production of automotive safety components represents a meaningful achievement, demonstrating that our business competitiveness is translating into actual manufacturing, customer supply, and revenue,” said Tae Hwan Yoo, CEO of HJWAVE. “Beyond technology development, we will continue to strengthen our business structure from R&D through mass production and global supply, building a stable foundation for sustainable growth.”

He added, “Based on our autonomous driving RF technologies and manufacturing capabilities, we will continue expanding our global customer base while broadening our business into new application areas utilizing millimeter-wave RF technology, with the goal of growing into a global RF technology specialist.”
